Weekly Driving Lessons in Plymouth

Whatever your driving lesson needs, Mark Lane Plymouth Driving Instructors will have the lessons for you.

Particularly popular are still the traditional weekly driving lessons in Plymouth. For weekly lessons you will normally take one or more two hour driving lessons each week.

Two hour lessons are preferred as it cuts the total time down before you pass your test and also saves you a lot of money in the long run. A two hour lesson has considerably more learning and on road training time than the one hour lesson that used to be taken.

The Driver Vehicle and Standards Agency (DVSA) research shows that the average learner takes around 47 hours of lessons with a professional driving instructor and 22 hours of additional private practice. Now don’t let that worry you because that is an average and we find if you take the two hour lessons you will need far less than that.
